To ensure that all processes and documentation are maintained and accurate and that they are completed in a timely manner to allow for the efficient operation of the site.
To control, verify, print, issue and record labels for production, ensuring the information is accurate in accordance with customer specifications.
To control and issue all packaging for production in accordance with the specification and within the required time for production requirements.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety legislation, codes of practice, and best practices. Maintain and monitor health and safety policies, provide specialist advice, and ensure incidents are reported and investigated, ensuring staff and contractors adhere to safe working methods.
To support the Printroom Supervisor in achieving and maintaining standards on all printing and labelling matters. To ensure that labels are printed in accordance with customer specification and EEC standards.
To support the Senior Technical Manager in achieving and maintaining standards on all printing and packaging matters. To ensure that labels are printed in accordance with customer specification/EEC standards.
To plan, check, monitor and carry out maintenance work and repair of all Company equipment, machinery, and buildings. To ensure conformance to all legislative requirements, codes of practice, best practice and Health and Safety requirements for the safe, and efficient operation of the business, including machinery, buildings and services.
Ensure that all product is in the correct location at the correct time, in accordance with the Company stock control system and the needs of the Production Team.
Responsible for ensuring that all pallets are correctly labelled and that all products are traceable at all times and that any movement of stock is accurately recorded in the Company stock control system.
Working as part of the packing line the role will help to lead and develop the packing team to meet quality and packing targets.
The role will be responsible for machine minding, works order completion and providing support during change overs.
Actively seek and recommend continuous improvements, minimise downtime and maximise line performance without compromising on quality.
Lead an effective operation across a small number of production lines within your cell, taking full accountability for employee and operational performance against targets.
Manage and develop employees and workers on your lines to ensure delivery against our Safety, Quality, Service, Cost and People Objectives.
