Responsible for overseeing stock control processes, ensuring real-time reconciliation, and maintaining live stock visibility. Understands the unique challenges of stock management in fresh produce industry and use expertise to improve current processes. This role involves working closely with warehouse and production teams to ensure stock accuracy, driving the improvement of stock check processes, and finding solutions to enhance stock accuracy. Additionally, dedicated to upskilling the team, ensuring that their skills are at the required level to achieve 100% live stock accuracy.

• Oversee stock control, ensuring accurate reconciliation and real-time visibility.
• Ensure all jobs are closed with live stock reconciliation in a timely manner. 
• Handle customer stock queries professionally, providing detailed and high-standard responses.
• Confidently reconcile stock, ensuring system accuracy while balancing customer satisfaction and business protection.
• Utilise Prophet ERP System to manage stock issues effectively and develop processes that enhance efficiency.
• Apply industry knowledge to refine and optimise stock management procedures.
• Work closely with the warehouse and production teams to ensure stock accuracy throughout all stages of handling, from receipt to dispatch.
• Coordinate stock movements with the warehouse team, ensuring that stock is properly stored, tracked, and accounted for.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure that stock levels align with customers needs, minimising errors.
• Ensure seamless communication between departments to resolve stock discrepancies and improve workflow efficiency.
• Lead initiatives to identify and implement solutions that improve stock check processes, enhancing accuracy and efficiency.
• Continuously analyse current stock check practices to find areas for improvement and streamline procedures.
• Work with the team to develop and execute action plans that reduce stock discrepancies and improve real-time tracking.
• Implement new tools or best practices to improve stock checks and overall stock management. • Develop and execute formal training plans to upskill the team, ensuring they possess the necessary skills to maintain 100% live stock accuracy.
• Monitor team performance and provide continuous coaching to ensure team members are meeting stock accuracy standards.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and assessments to identify skill gaps and provide tailored development plans.
• Promote a culture of continuous learning, fostering team ownership of stock accuracy goals.
• Create opportunities for team members to develop their skills in key areas of stock management, ensuring consistent improvement.
• Use produce industry experience to evaluate and improve current stock control processes.
• Support re-calls mass balance procedures, ensuring 24-hour stock reconciliation coverage within the team.
• Assist the Technical department during audits, including TFS, BRC, Red Tractor, and other compliance requirements.
• Implement best practices for stock management that align with industry regulations and customer expectations.
• Manage day-to-day team resources, including timesheets and rota planning.
• Ensure accurate and informative KPI tracking for team performance and stock management
• Drive stock department performance by identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.

• Strong knowledge of stock control in the produce industry.
• Proven experience in stock reconciliation and management.
• Expertise in Prophet or similar stock management systems.
• Ability to analyse stock processes and develop effective improvements to stock check accuracy.
• Strong collaboration skills, with experience working with warehouse and production teams.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills, with a focus on upskilling the team.

• Strong knowledge and understanding of MS Office including Excel and Word

• Previous experience in stock supervision or inventory management, ideally within the produce industry.
• Strong working knowledge of Prophet software and its application in stock control.
• Experience supporting audits such as TFS, BRC, and Red Tractor.
• Demonstrated ability to improve stock management processes and stock check accuracy.
