THE ROLE

The role is responsible to undertake maintenance and diagnostic repair, to electrical/electronic, mechanical, plumbing, steam and pneumatic decontamination plant and equipment.

ABOUT YOU

• A National Certificate or National Diploma in engineering or technology accredited, registered electrical/fitting/plumbing apprenticeship

• Comprehensive knowledge of building services engineering

• Comprehensive knowledge of porous load sterilizers, bench top sterilizers, washer disinfectors, flexible endoscopes

• and ultrasonic cleaners

• Ability to fault find & problem solve

• Ability to interpret complex information and range of options

• Excellent communication skills

• Good IT skills

• Excellent organisational & time management & administration skills

• Able to communicate with internal staff and key contacts at contracts

ABOUT YOU

  • Experience working in a clinical ultrasound environment (e.g. sonography, radiology, or similar).
  • Demonstrable sales or commercial experience in medical devices or healthcare solutions. Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills with an adaptable approach for different audiences.
  • Confidence engaging decision-makers within complex healthcare organisations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts, priorities, and travel schedules effectively.
  • Experience using CRM software and digital tools for customer management and reporting.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills. Proactive, results-oriented, and self-motivated with a customer-first mindset.
  • Full UK driving licence, with a willingness to travel nationwide.

THE ROLE

The role is responsible for overseeing the servicing, commissioning and repair of all dental equipment covered by the overarching contracts awarded to Avensys UK Ltd. The position includes management of the team of dental engineers, with a strong focus on mentoring, upskilling, and ensuring engineers are fully trained and equipped to carry out their duties. A key aspect of the role involves the development of the dental training area at Avensys HQ.

ABOUT YOU

  • Excellent experience working with dental equipment, dental chairs, sterilisers, deliver units, air lines, water and electrics. 
  • Excellent dental equipment knowledge to assist in providing quotations. 
  • Excellent communication to be able to liaise with internal staff and key contacts at contracts. 
  • Knowledge of ISO9001:2015, ISO13485:2016 and ISO14001:2015 QA Systems.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Dental Engineer to join our Engineering Team. This role is field based.

THE ROLE

The role is responsible for servicing, commissioning and repair of all dental equipment covered by the overarching contracts awarded to Avensys UK Ltd.

You will be liaising with our Customer Support Team regarding the allocation of jobs, but you will be responsible for various elements of your own administration including recording service notes and parts orders on our Asset Management System, controlling your test equipment and inventories and complying with and carrying out personal risk assessments.

As part of our team of engineers you will be supporting (and receive support from) both your colleagues and your Senior Engineering Manager (SEM). You will receive training via our training academy to ensure that you develop your technical knowledge as regards equipment modalities as well as manufacturers.
