Profile Books are an independent publisher that was founded nearly thirty years ago; its imprints are Profile, Serpent’s Tail, Tuskar Rock, Viper, Souvenir Press, Wellcome Collection, Economist Books, and Profile Editions.

We have a team of around 65 employees, and our office is in Cloth Fair, near Barbican and Farringdon. 

Profile has been named Independent Publisher of the Year at the British Book Awards several times, most recently in 2024.
