Job Description

Many of our customers have Service contracts in place to ensure their Bender equipment is maintained and updated. Our Engineers attend our customer sites and make recommendations on what work needs to be carried out to ensure our electrical equipment remains fit for purpose. The outputs of these reports result in remedial quotations being produced by our Service team. The candidate will be responsible for driving and closing remedial sales. This will be done by following up on remedial quotations that have been sent to customers, maintaining daily communication with customers and preparing client documentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily communication with our customers. This could be the NHS and private hospitals, Facilities Management companies and customers within the other Industrial sectors we operate in.

• Prepare client documentation, generate quotations (including remedial), process orders, compile reports, and respond to customer calls.

• Perform ad hoc administration tasks, including raising requisitions and POs.

• Promote cross-functional working and demonstrate a ‘one team’ approach.

• Work with the technical department to provide battery replacement quotations.

Competencies

• Excellent time management skills.

• Commercially savvy with strong prioritisation and planning skills.

• Interest and ability to learn technical information about our products

• Strong communication with ability to nurture customer relationships through phone calls

• Good administrative skills with ability to keep records up to date and share information across teams

• Computer literacy with good attention to detail.

Experience

• Experience working in a busy sales department.

• Experience with CRM systems is advantageous.

• Customer service experience, preferably in a business-to-business organisation.

• Sales and commercial experience is preferable.

  • Salary: Up to £30,000
  • Fixed Term Contract - 18 Months
  • Bonus: Sales-driven incentive arrangement paid quarterly
