We are Ascenti. The leading provider of physiotherapy, mental health, and government assessment services in the UK. Our three Business Units – Ascenti Physio, Advo Health, and Six Physio – are bound together by our common purpose to help people live fuller lives.
Advo Health’s community of experienced healthcare professionals throughout the UK carry out independent assessments which help the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) to understand how a health condition or disability is affecting a claimant’s daily life. This ensures that the system is fair and that those who are most in need of help and support receive it.
Your purpose
The Governance Officer role is to support the governance and continuous improvement activities that keep our colleagues and claimants safe in the delivery of the Health Assessment Advisory Service (HAAS).
This will include areas such as incident reporting, safeguarding reporting, complaints, professional referrals, policy reviews, and document control processes. Additionally, you will provide support on projects relevant to the governance function.
How your role fits within our team
This role sits within the regional clinical performance team, reporting directly to the Head of Clinical.
The role will be working closely with the management team across the region, but also broader stakeholders across Advo Health and the wider Ascenti Group, so stakeholder management is key.
You may not have a clinical background or qualifications, but you will work with and learn from clinicians in your role.
