The ideal candidate will have the ability to work well under pressure, demonstrate a high level of attention to detail with flexibility within the hours of 7am and 6pm, working staggered start and finish times on rotation.
Duties include:
- Full involvement in the planning & co-ordination of a large fleet of car transporters and drivers, distributing cars, vans and HGV’s throughout the U.K. and Ireland.
- Co-ordination and management of drivers while ensuring compliance with Road Traffic and Working Time laws.
- Booking shipping space utilising the most cost and time effective routes available on the Irish Sea.
- Ensuring fleet is available for planned servicing and maintenance.
- Ensuring strict customer KPI’s are achieved.
- Keeping Customer Services staff updated on changes and delays.
- Communication with Directors on a daily basis.
- The successful candidate will participate in out of hours mobile telephone cover which is operated on a rotational basis with other colleagues.
Essential Criteria:
- At least 2 years’ previous experience in a busy Transport / Traffic office, or similar environment with direct customer contact
- Experience in the use of Microsoft office including Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Traffic Management and telematics systems, or similar
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience of Stirling Traffic Management System or similar

We’re looking for a HGV drivers that hold a C+E licence to join our team at our operation in Selby. You will be undertaking the delivery & collection of products on behalf of Woodside Tankfreight and its customers.

HGV Class 1 Driver Requirements:
