We’re looking for a HGV drivers that hold a C+E licence to join our team at our operation in Shepton Mallet. You will be undertaking the delivery & collection of products on behalf of Woodside Tankfreight and its customers.

The Person:

The Role:

The role requires General driving duties, observing current legal and best practice, delivering and collection to/from our customers’ premises.

Loading and delivering of food / non food grade goods on behalf of major blue chip companies.

Full and ongoing training will be provided by our team of dedicated Driver Trainers.


Pay rates:

Potential earnings of up to £18.02per hour

Guaranteed 10 hour shifts

Overnight £26 per night

Meal Allowance (Paid on or after 10 hours of working) £3.00



Essential criteria:

A full UK C+E licence.

Digital tachograph card and driver's CPC qualification card.

Bulk powder experience.

12 months previous tanker driving experience.

Able to maintain a good standard of driving.

Clean license preferable but up to a maximum 6 points is acceptable.

Good knowledge of drivers hours and WTD regulations.

ADR in tanks.

What are we looking for?

We are currently recruiting for an experienced warehouse operative to join our busy warehouse team in Ballynure. The candidate must have an excellent attention to detail, a flexible approach to the working environment and good interpersonal skills.

The successful candidate will work with all members of the warehousing team to ensure customer orders are dispatched in a timely and accurate manner.

Key Duties:

Loading and unloading various Inbound & Export Trailers.

Loading local fleet for dispatch.

Labelling & scanning freight.

Strapping & securing loads.

General warehouse & housekeeping duties.


Essential Criteria:

Previous experience of working in a fast-paced transport distribution operation.

Excellent attention to detail.


Desirable Criteria:

Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (Refreshed within the last 3 years).

The Role:

Transporting a wide variety of items to customers

Following the designated routes which relate to the delivery and communicating your location and estimated arrival time

Providing excellent customer service to all internal and external customers

Safe, efficient and responsible driving of Company vehicle

Perform daily vehicle and trailer checks and completion of relevant documentation

Keeping vehicles clean inside and out

Reporting of defects to traffic office, and obtaining defect number

Complying with the requirements of Health and Safety, other relevant legislation and site policies


Essential Criteria:

Class C (Class 2) licence.

Digital tachograph card and driver's CPC qualification card.

Able to maintain a good standard of driving.

Clean license preferable but up to a maximum 6 points is acceptable.

Able to demonstrate right to work in the UK.

Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and WTD regulations.
