We have an exciting opportunity for an Admin Apprentice to join our team. The role is based at our Head Offices, in Kidderminster.
THE ROLE
Administration Apprentice will work with the Account Management team undertaking administrative tasks ensuring that the office is supported to work effectively, ensuring tasks are completed in a timely manner.
ABOUT YOU:
- Computer Literate
- GCSE level Maths and English
- Attention to detail and accuracy

THE TERMS
Contract Term: 18 Month Fixed Term
Hours of Work: 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday - 1 hour unpaid lunch break
Annual Leave: 23 days holiday + bank holidays (rising with service to a maximum of 28 days).
Salary £17,000.00
You will be required to undertake appropriate safeguarding checks which include an enhanced DBS check, as well as providing proof of right to work in the UK.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Ledger to join our Finance Team. The role is based at our Head offices, on Hoo Farm Industrial Estate, Kidderminster.
THE ROLE
As a Sales Ledger Controller, you will play a key role in the finance team, responsible for the effective management of customer invoicing and sales ledger processes. You will ensure timely and accurate billing, resolve customer queries efficiently, and maintain up-to-date and accurate pricing and account information. Your responsibilities will also include producing regular customer KPI reports and working closely with other departments to ensure customer charges and costs are accurately recorded and communicated. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving within a fast-paced environment.
ABOUT YOU
Proven experience in a sales ledger, accounts receivable, or similar finance role, with a strong understanding of customer invoicing.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
Knowledge of Sage 200 desirable
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills; able to liaise effectively with both internal teams and external customers.
Ability to identify and resolve problems efficiently and proactively.
Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.

Hours of Work: 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday - 1 hour unpaid lunch break
Annual Leave: 23 days holiday + bank holidays (rising with service to a maximum of 28 days).
Salary: £28,000 -£31,500 (dependent on experience)

Whilst Avensys is a professional company, we’re also friendly and personable. We’re looking for someone who embodies our values and can communicate effectively with customers and colleagues alike. To be successful in this role, you must be organised as you’ll have to plan your own work, manage multiple tasks, and complete your administrative tasks on time. Good computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office programs would be beneficial. Customer service experience would be desirable but is by no means essential as this is an entry-level position. THE ROLE
The Junior Commercial Contracts Administrator role is an entry-level position designed to teach you everything you need to know to become a fully-fledged Commercial Contracts Team Administrator with Avensys. You will ensure correct billing is in place for customer contracts and track all additions and deletions to contracts. Also, to assist with Commercial tasks alongside the Commercial manager, Key Account Managers and Admin Operations Manager. A qualification in Maths will be beneficial to undertaking this role from GCSE level upwards. You may not have the necessarily contracts experience, but with training and 2 years’ experience you will have everything you need to be a great Commercial Contracts Team Administrator!
THE TERMS
- Salary: £24,000 - £26,000
- Contract Term: Permanent. Hours of Work: 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday. Annual Leave: 23 days holiday + bank holidays (rising with service to a maximum of 28 days).
- Part time hours will be considered for this role with a minimum of 22.5 hours per week plus.
