What is the opportunity?:

As a Sr Revenue Analyst you will be responsible for preparation of Deal reviews as well as supporting the broader Revenue team with timely period close activities. Here is a breakdown:

• Prepare risk-based contract reviews ensuring products and related terms are properly reflected in our ERP reporting systems (Oracle Fusion RMCS).

• Create process documentation on revenue recognition rules and policies.

• Assist with preparation of revenue accounting memos in compliance with US GAAP.

• Contribute to revenue policy definitions and improvement, with a particular focus on enabling application across cross-functional teams.

• Maintain controls and evaluate actions required for compliance with Omnissa revenue recognition process.

• Identify and implement process improvements, especially by leveraging new technologies to increase efficiency and productivity.

• Complete required month-end close activities like accounting, reconciliations & reporting around revenue close.

• Ensure compliance & support Audits.

• Engage closely in monthly and quarterly revenue reporting and other SaaS metrics to help monitor the health of the business.

• Assist in short & long-term analysis of balance sheet accounts.

• Develop strong operational knowledge on critical modules within Oracle Fusion (Order Management, Subscription Management, Revenue Management, BI Reporting)

• Assist in quarterly balance sheet review preparation.

What will you bring to Omnissa?:


 • Relevant experience with a background from a Big 4 accounting firm (consulting) or Revenue background in contract reviews within SaaS based multinational companies preferred.

• An active ACA or CPA designation and industry accounting experience preferred.

• Strong technical accounting knowledge / ASC 606 / Revenue accounting knowledge preferred

• Working knowledge of current literature related to ASC 606.

• Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines.

• Ability to work within a team to expedite completion of projects with other teams including FP&A, Sales, Pricing, and Information Systems.

• Experience with MS Office software including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Experience with Oracle and other ERP is preferred.
