What is the opportunity?

As a Manager, Global Indirect Tax you will be responsible for managing the indirect tax reviews and filing processes. Here is a breakdown of what you can expect:

• Complete monthly, quarterly, and year-end global income tax reviews and accounting entries.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary financial data for indirect tax reviews and provision calculations.

• Coordinate with tax advisors to manage tax compliance requirements in various international & US jurisdictions.

• Review international & US tax returns supporting timely and accurate filing.

• Provide guidance to various internal teams on tax compliance and issues.

• Assist with completion of other tax related filings such as international annual reports.

• Provide input on transfer pricing processes.

• Provide support in tax audits and inquiries from US & international tax authorities.

• Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned. • Conduct research on complex tax issues and provide recommendations.

• Monitor changes in international tax laws and assess their impact on the company.

What will you bring to Omnissa?

• Ideally ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA qualified.

• At least 5+ years working in a multi-national accounting/finance team.

• 3+ years working on corporate indirect tax.

• Experience working with tax advisors and auditors.

• Experience with Vertex or a similar tax software highly preferred.

• Detailed understanding of corporate income tax compliance and accounting.

• Strong Microsoft Office skills.

• Must be meticulous, detail oriented, organized and self-motivated

• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.

• Ability to be flexible while working with time constraints and deadlines.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

We are a recently formed global accounting team, responsible for all aspects of Omnissa’s financial statements and more. The accounting team is highly motivated and driven by the challenge of standing up accounting systems, processes, and policies for Omnissa, in order to deliver timely and accurate financial statements.
