Talent Partner

Job description

At Ascenti, we help thousands of people every day to elevate their health and live active lives. With over 25 years of experience in the public and private sectors, we're proud to foster a progressive, values-led workplace where our people thrive.

About the role

We're looking for a Talent Partner to join our People Team on a permanent, full-time basis. This is a pivotal role that will lead and deliver end-to-end talent acquisition and workforce planning activity for our Ascenti Physio Business Unit.

You'll partner closely with the Ascenti Physio leadership team and People Partner to align talent strategies with clinical, operational, and commercial goals. While your focus will be on Ascenti Physio, you'll also support recruitment for Group-level and specialist roles where required, collaborating closely with the Talent Partner for Advo Health to share best practices, maintain a consistent candidate experience, and foster a strong team culture across the talent function.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with demonstrated talent acquisition expertise and management experience who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment. You'll work as part of a supportive and experienced team, with the space to grow and make a real impact.

What you'll be doing

As a Talent Partner, you'll:

  • Own the delivery of all recruitment for Ascenti Physio, ensuring timely, high-quality hires in line with monthly targets and business priorities.
  • Define and report on relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and recruitment performance metrics, regularly presenting insights to stakeholders and the wider People Team.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, providing expert advice and managing expectations on market availability, timelines, and process.
  • Lead the development of talent pipelines for key roles and support workforce planning for clinical and operational growth.
  • Ensure a consistent, engaging candidate experience that reflects our values and employer brand.
  • Coach and support the performance of your direct reports through regular 1:1s, development plans, and goal-setting.
  • Monitor team outputs and support ongoing professional development, ensuring individuals are equipped with the skills, tools, and confidence to perform at their best.
  • Maintain full compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies, including EDI, GDPR, and employment eligibility checks.
  • Lead or contribute to talent-focused projects and Senior Leadership Team (SLT) priorities, supporting the development and implementation of talent strategies across the Group.
  • Work closely with the Ascenti Physio People Partner to align people plans and ensure a consistent, joined-up approach to workforce development.
  • Support the Communications Team with employer brand and attraction strategy, helping to shape and deliver annual recruitment marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate across the wider People function on shared initiatives and best practice, contributing to a high-performing and united team culture.
