Job description
Responsible for maintaining the operational efficiency and safety of our facilities across the site.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facilities and equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify and address issues.
- Collaborate with other departments to schedule and complete maintenance tasks with minimal disruption to operations.
- Manage and oversee external contractors for specialised maintenance tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment repairs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
- Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and protocols.
- Participate in the planning and execution of facility upgrades and renovations.
- Monitor and manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
- Any additional tasks that will arise within the remit of a Facilities Maintenance Technician

Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Facilities Maintenance Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication.
- Relevant certifications or vocational training in facilities maintenance or related fields is a plus.
- Physical ability to perform manual labour and lift heavy objects as required.
