Supply Chain Coordinator

The Fresh Produce Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the efficient movement of fresh produce orders through the supply chain, ensuring customer demand is met while maximizing product availability, minimising waste and maintaining high service levels. The role provides operational support across procurement, third-party packing operations, customer order fulfilment, and supplier liaison. Working closely with the DPS Commercial teams, growers, packing partners and 3rd party packing sites. The Supplychain coordinator ensures accurate information flow and effective stock management from source to customer.

Shift pattern & Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 08:00-17:00

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily arrivals and ensure all produce is accurately received within company systems.

• Generate receiving documentation and arrival reports for growers and packhouses.

• Monitor stock levels and reconcile physical inventory against system records.

• Ensure product rotation principles are followed minimise waste maximise profitability.

• Communicate stock availability and supply updates to internal stakeholders.

• Dehire site trays daily ensuring we are with are allowed days

Customer Order Fulfilment

• Process customer orders and manage amendments in line with business requirements.

• Allocate stock to customer demand, ensuring service objectives are achieved.

• Monitor customer requirements and proactively manage potential shortages or risks.

• Support high customer service levels through accurate and timely order processing.

Third-Party Packing Operations

• Coordinate supply requirements across multiple third-party packing facilities.

• Manage tray stock movements and de-hire activities

• Maintain packing schedules and communicate stock requirements to packing partners.

• Process ASN for 3rd party sites as and when required

Systems & Data Management

• Maintain accurate data within supply chain systems.

• Process XML files and customer-specific data requirements.

• Update supply sheets,

• Ensure master data supply sheets information remain accurate and up to date.

Reporting & Administration

• Verify third-party packhouse invoices and ancillary charges.

• Assist with works order administration and job closures.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Experience within a supply chain, or fresh produce environment.

• Strong organisational and administrative skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.

• Strong communication skills.

• Ability to prioritise workload within a fast-paced environment.

• Competent in Microsoft Excel.

• Experience using Prophet or stock management systems.

• Experience in Tesco Tims
