As such we are looking for a superstar Compliance & Sustainability Assistant based in, Kent, working full-time.
The candidate will work on and take ownership of our technical compliance and sustainability administration and reporting across a wide range of products and geographies and our global suppliers to maintain our food safety and ethical due diligence and monitor our environmental impacts, which is central to our commitment to Operating Responsibly.
Key responsibilities
- Liaise with suppliers to collate accurate and review due diligence information and file the records on internal and customer due diligence platforms.
- Monitor and report on due diligence throughout the supply period.
- Manage the daily chemical surveillance testing schedule for supplier arrivals. • Perform supplier recall and traceability exercises.
- Maintain and update approved supplier lists (Internal and customers)
- Collate, review and trend supplier environmental data relating to Food waste, Carbon Emissions, Water and Sustainable Farming certification.
Key skills and experience
- Educated to university degree level, preferably in Food Science, Environmental management or Environmental Science or other Science background
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Power BI
- Management / super user of online sustainability platforms and ability to manage large datasets
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with stakeholders across all levels and disciplines.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Strong work ethic, deadline focussed.
