About the role and Connect Housing

We are seeking a self-motivated individual to join our Engage Leeds team as a Housing Support Worker. In this role, you’ll manage your own caseload, working alongside colleagues and partners to deliver housing-related support to individuals at risk of homelessness or those needing help to maintain their accommodation.

About you

More specifically, you will:

  • Have experience working in a housing or support environment, with an understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with housing support needs
  • Deliver high-quality, customer-focused, responsive, and accountable support
  • Be an effective communicator who can influence others and work both independently and under pressure
  • Provide support that is sensitive, empowering, and promotes dignity, self-esteem, and resilience
  • Work with Team Leaders and Engage Leeds partners to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and local community organisations
