Join Us as We Move Toward Net-Zero

Could you be the person who can help Connect take its next big step forward towards achieving our Net-Zero ambitions?

Sustainability is now in our DNA - it's one of the three key words in our Corporate Strategy strapline - Fairer - Greener - Smarter. We have a successful track record of delivery over the last 5 years against our Sustainability Strategy, and we are seen as a leading voice in net-zero activity in the region.

A Role with Purpose and Impact

Building on from the achievements of our outgoing colleague, you will help bring our plans to life - delivering impactful investment programmes focused on our tenanted properties, while also contributing to wider sustainability efforts across Connect. Connect has taken a leading role in regional climate networks, and alongside programme delivery, there are sure to be opportunities and encouragement for the successful candidate to branch out from their day-to-day duties to take part in wider strategy work on the climate agenda.

Reporting directly to the Director of Home, this is a high-impact role where your work will improve lives, reduce emissions, and help us build a fairer, greener, smarter future.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading and coordinating investment projects with a focus on energy efficiency and carbon reduction
  • Working across teams and with partners to ensure smooth, collaborative delivery
  • Creating and delivering measurable improvements to our homes and neighbourhoods
  • Contributing to regional climate strategy through engagement and networking
  • Supporting Connect’s broader organisational goals through hands-on, flexible teamwork

Please see attached Job Description and Person Specification for more details on what we are looking for and how your skills and experience might match this.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is passionate about customer service, the net zero agenda and social and environmental sustainability
  • Builds trust through great communication and relationships
  • Has a track record in successful project management
  • Is organised, forward-thinking and outcome-focused
  • Is adaptable and confident working in a dynamic environment

You might be an experienced manager or ready to step up to your next challenge. Either way, your curiosity and drive will be valued here at Connect and this is an opportunity which has the potential to provide a fantastic platform for a wide range of future career pathways.

If you would like to discuss this opportunity please contact the HR Team: hrteam@connecthousing.org.uk.
