Location: Hybrid working with 2 days a week in our Dewsbury town centre office, close to bus and rail stations

Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week

Connect Housing is seeking a proactive and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Services Officer working on our repairs line.

Our Customer Services Officers (CSOs) specialise in the repairs side of the business, taking calls, recording repair issues and asking questions about the repair so that our trades operatives have as much detail as possible. The CSOs work closely with colleagues who plan and carry out the repair work and also with other departments across the business to make sure that we’re able to provide customers with accurate information and to arrive at the best possible outcome.

We are seeking someone with:

  • experience in a customer-focused administrative role, ideally within property maintenance.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to resolving queries effectively.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities.
  • Good IT skills, including experience with data collection, processing, and finance systems.
  • A collaborative and flexible approach to teamwork.
  • Knowledge of residential property maintenance processes (desirable)

The role is based at our central Dewsbury office, within easy access to Dewsbury bus and rail stations. This is a hybrid role with minimum two days in the office.
