Group HR Manager

Reporting to: Head of HR

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday

Full time, Permanent


Job Summary:

Due to continued growth, we’re excited to add a Group HR Manager to our expanding HR team to lead and enhance HR operations across Woodside Logistics Group.

You will be responsible for leading all aspects of the HR function including recruitment, training, employee relations, compliance and policy development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance and support to management on all employee matters

• Ensure consistent application of employment law, company policies and HR practices across all sites

• Lead the development and review of all policies, ensuring they are legally compliant and updated to reflect employment legislation changes

• Support the implementation and development of a new HR system

• Lead and improve on internal communication

• Lead initiatives focused on employee well-being and engagement

• Oversee recruitment, onboarding and offboarding processes

• Develop an effective induction process to ensure a smooth and engaging onboarding experience for new employees

• Support the annual engagement survey process, partnering with managers to interpret results and ensure meaningful follow-up actions are implemented in response to employee feedback

• Assist in the development and delivery of L&D / training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge

• Support with TUPE processes including employee consultations

• Assist with internal and external audits to ensure HR compliance

• Monitor and report on key HR metrics (e.g. turnover, engagement, absenteeism) and produce reports to inform decision-making

• Reviewing and updating the company handbook to ensure it remains current, compliant, and reflective of best practices.

• Stay informed on HR best practices and legal developments, recommending process and policy improvements


Essential:

• CIPD qualification

• Proven experience in a senior HR role, ideally in a multi-site or group structure

• Experience in managing complex ER casework

• TUPE and acquisition experience

• Strong knowledge of NI, UK and ROI employment law

Please note this role may also involve travel to other locations within the group to ensure consistency and support across the business.
