Class 1 Driver – Woodside Tankfreight

Location: Selby

Shift Pattern: Mon - Fri (Roamer)

What are we looking for?

We’re looking for a HGV drivers that hold a C+E licence to join our team at our operation in Selby. You will be undertaking the delivery & collection of products on behalf of Woodside Tankfreight and its customers.


Job Description:

The role requires General driving duties, observing current legal and best practice, delivering and collection to/from our customers’ premises.

Loading and delivering of food / non food grade goods on behalf of major blue chip companies.

Full and ongoing training will be provided by our team of dedicated Driver Trainers.


Rate of Pay:

Potential earnings of up to £16.07 per hour

Guaranteed 10 hours shifts

Plentiful overtime paid up to £17.67 per hour Mon – Fri 

/ up to £19.82 per hour on a Sat / Sun

Overnight £26 per night


Essential criteria:

A full UK C+E licence.

Digital tachograph card and driver's CPC qualification card.

Minimum of 12 months previous bulk tanker driving experience.

Able to maintain a good standard of driving.

Clean license preferable but up to a maximum 6 points is acceptable.

Able to demonstrate right to work in the UK.

Good knowledge of drivers hours and WTD regulations.


Desirable Criteria:

ADR in tanks
