Our Nursery Managers have overall responsibility for the day to day running of the setting. 

You will develop & maintain a high quality child-centered setting that is in line with the EYFS and any legal requirements.

You will ensure that the welfare of the children remains paramount and they are protected from risk of harm.

You will lead, develop and encourage a good working team, providing professional support and guidance to all staff

You will monitor the financial situation of the setting with support from your Line Manager, working within an agreed budget

You will develop and maintain positive relationships with parent’s carers and work in partnership with them

Essential

• Minimum of a recognised and relevant level 3 qualification

Desirable

• Early Years degree or EYPS/EYTS 
• Paediatric First Aid certificate & driving licence
  

Essential 

• Knowledge of Ofsted requirements, the EYFS and other quality indicators.
• Sufficient understanding and use of English
• Knowledge of required policies and procedures and ability to develop and implement them.
• Ability to work as a team member and lead, supervise and motivate others.
• Ability to plan, provide and evaluate a wide range of play and learning opportunities
• Ability to be a reflective practitioner in order to develop your own and your team’s practice
• Ability to communicate effectively with all children, staff and families
• Ability to support and develop an environment which is inclusive for all and encourages diversity.

Desirable 

• Knowledge of Special Educational Needs and code of practice.
  

Essential 

• 2 years relevant experience of working with children aged under 5.
• Experience of supervising staff.
• Experience of developing and using administrative systems
• Experience of managing and organising own workload

£43000 Salary working 40 hours per week Hourly Rate = £20.67
