Job Purpose 

To support and maintain the nursery building within a housekeeping role. Support staff with the upkeep of the building and its resources. Develop your role in terms of understanding and applying nursery policies and procedures and food safety standards

Main Duties and Responsibilities 

To provide and maintain a high quality service to children working as part of a staff team to meet children’s individual needs. 

Be responsible for the daily upkeep and cleaning of all nursery rooms, halls and toilet areas.

What will my working day look like? 

4-5pm: After the children have finished their tea, you will support the rooms by clearing away dishes etc. 

5-6pm: You will clean and close down the nursery kitchen following tea and support with maintaining the laundry 

6-8pm: Once the children have gone home, you will clean the children's rooms and communal areas of the nursery. This will include hoovering, mopping, dusting and some deep cleaning
