Toomey Motor Group is growing, and we’re looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and dedicated Class 1 HGV Driver to join our fantastic team.

This is more than just a driving role — you’ll be an important part of our operation, representing Toomey Motor Group and helping us deliver the high standards of service our customers expect.

What you’ll be doing

• Safely and efficiently operating Class 1 HGV vehicles.

• Carrying out deliveries and collections as required.

• Ensuring vehicles, loads and documentation are handled correctly.

• Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any issues.

• Providing a professional and friendly service at all times.

• Working closely with our wider team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

• Maintaining the high standards and reputation of Toomey Motor Group.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about their work, takes pride in what they do and enjoys being part of a great team.

You’ll need:

• A valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV licence.

• A valid Driver CPC qualification.

• A professional and responsible approach to driving.

• Excellent timekeeping and reliability.

• Good communication skills.

• A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.

• A strong commitment to health, safety and customer service.
