Warranty Administrator – No Automotive Experience Required

Toomey Motor Group is looking for an organised, motivated and detail-focused individual to join our team as a Warranty Administrator.

No previous automotive or warranty experience is required.

We are far more interested in finding the right person – someone who is organised, accurate, willing to learn and takes pride in getting things right. Full training will be provided, making this a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start or develop a career within the motor industry.

As part of our Warranty Team, you will help ensure warranty claims are processed accurately and efficiently, working closely with our Service Departments and vehicle manufacturers.

What will you be doing?

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and submitting manufacturer warranty claims accurately and within required timescales

• Working closely with our Service Managers, Advisors and Technicians to ensure the correct information is available for each claim

• Checking warranty documentation to ensure it meets manufacturer requirements

• Monitoring claims through to payment

• Reviewing and resolving returned or rejected warranty claims

• Reconciling manufacturer warranty payments and highlighting any discrepancies

• Maintaining accurate and auditable warranty records

• Following manufacturer processes, policies and procedures

• Helping our dealerships achieve consistently high standards of warranty administration

• Building strong working relationships with teams across Toomey Motor Group

Do I need automotive experience?

No.

Previous warranty or motor trade experience would be an advantage, but it is absolutely not essential.

We will provide the training and support you need to understand manufacturer warranty processes and develop within the role.

Previous administration experience would be beneficial, but we would also welcome applications from people looking for an opportunity to build a new career.
