As a Senior Engineer at MSite, you'll be at the forefront of transforming the construction industry, leading the charge in deploying, supporting, and continuously enhancing our workforce management system.
You'll drive the installation and commissioning of MSite systems, ensuring seamless integration on-site while upholding our uncompromising quality and safety standards. Acting as the subject matter expert for complex technical challenges, you'll be a trusted advisor for both our customers and our internal teams.
Beyond the tools, you'll act as a mentor, championing the growth of junior engineers, shaping best practices, and lifting the entire engineering team’s performance.
In this role you won’t just support MSite systems, you’ll ensure every deployment delivers maximum value, long-term reliability, and industry-leading customer satisfaction.
• Lead the installation and commissioning of MSite systems across customer sites, ensuring all work meets high technical and professional standards.
• Provide expert-level support and maintenance for existing MSITE installations, acting as a technical escalation point for complex issues.
• Deliver subject matter expertise and technical leadership to both external clients and internal teams.
• Mentor and support junior engineers/apprentices, contributing to skills development and operational excellence.
• Ensure quality assurance and adherence to company installation standards, technical drawings, and health & safety procedures.
• Provide specialist input into the design and continuous improvement of technical architecture and system documentation.
• Maintain a strong customer focus with a commitment to achieving outstanding satisfaction scores and long-term client relationships.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure smooth handover, sign-off, and post-installation support.
• Deliver high-quality end-user and super user training onsite or remotely.
• Proactively contribute to best practices, engineering standards, and knowledge-sharing within the team.
• Assist with the Engineer Manager in auditing, health and safety and general team commitments.
• Take lead in 3rd party QA checks, Stock management and training.

• Health & Safety qualifications (e.g., ECS, CSCS, SSSTS)
• Technically astute with a proactive and solution-focused mindset.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills—confident engaging with customers and internal teams.
• Capable of working independently and under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Reliable, flexible, and committed to continuous improvement.
• Ability to instruct, raise non-compliance issues and identify and implement process enhancements.
Essential
• Proven experience in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of access control, CCTV and security systems.
• Strong track record of field-based engineering in a customer-facing role. • Experience leading or mentoring engineering staff on site.
• Proficient in interpreting and working from electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft I.T systems.
Desirable
• Experience in integrated systems (e.g., BMS, fire alarms, security networks).
• Working knowledge of structured cabling and IP networking.
• Familiarity with project management processes and site coordination.
