The Role

We are looking for a Legal Assistant to join our highly regarded Residential Property team. This position will be based in our Winchester office. The right candidate will undertake administrative support to the Residential Property team and become a strong part of the team.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

• Carrying out office administration, including file opening, billing, setting up payments and writing letters

• Assisting secretaries with dictations

• Organising diaries, scheduling meetings and responding to telephone queries

• Drafting legal documents, reports and proof-reading

• Organising case files

• Responding to correspondence from clients, other firms and agents

• Carrying out all administrative tasks following exchange of contracts and handling completions

• Dealing with post-completion tasks such as lodging AP1’s and keeping track of requisitions raised

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

• Excellent IT skills

• Commercial awareness

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Ability to work well in a team

• Ability to establish good relationships across the firm
