Twin Training International's University Placements team supports postgraduate MSc students at multiple UK University partners in securing industrial placements as part of their programmes. Our team has grown considerably in student numbers, in university partners, and in the complexity of what we deliver. As a result, we are seeking a new Student Engagement Officer with a clear, dedicated purpose: running high-quality CV 1-1s for students and owning all the processes that sit around them.

This is not a broad employability coaching role. It is a focused, high-volume position for someone who takes real pride in getting the detail right, a well-edited CV, an accurate record, a student who leaves their session with something genuinely useful. You will work within the student engagement team under the guidance of the Student Engagement Manager and report to the Programme Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Running individual CV review and coaching sessions with students, approximately 15-20 sessions per week and returning a polished, employer-ready CV within 15 working days

• Editing CVs at content level: structure, framing, sector relevance, not just formatting

• Scoring each student's CV and session performance using Twin's framework and recording it in our shared tracking system in real time

• Filing the three CV versions (Original, Formatted, Twin Header) in the Twin CRM and maintaining student records in Teams

• Updating the university-specific Microsoft List after each interaction, keeping data accurate and current

• Escalating any student concerns, disengagement, or compliance issues to the manager with clear notes

• Communicating with students professionally and supportively — many are international, and the 1-1 is often their first experience of how UK employers expect CVs to look

Skills & Experience:

• Experience working directly with people in a coaching, training, support, or education setting

• Strong written English and the ability to edit a document to a professional standard at content level, not just surface

• Great attention to detail and a disciplined approach to record keeping

• Organised and able to manage a steady caseload with clear turnaround targets

• Comfortable with digital tools, you will work in Bullhorn, Microsoft SharePoint, Teams and Excel regularly

• Patient, warm, and confident giving constructive feedback to students who may be anxious or unfamiliar with UK workplaces

• Someone who follows agreed processes reliably and knows when to escalate rather than work around a problem
