Job Summary

The Property Consultancy team helps UK clients, across all sectors, to create and implement strategic transformation plans. The plans aim to optimise their property portfolios, secure investment, and provide long-term value and operational efficiency. As a graduate you will be involved in supporting the senior property professionals to fulfil commissions and to bid for new opportunities. Clients for the team include major NHS Trusts as well as strategic partners in the government and life sciences sectors, all with significant property portfolios. We will support you in your progression towards membership with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) by completing the assessment of professional competence (APC). The role will combine office and client facing time. We offer a hybrid working model and project permitting, employees may work from home for up to two days per week.

What we expect from you

  • To provide clients with strategic advice on space rationalisation and consolidation issues
  • Completing development appraisals and providing development advice and viability studies
  • Carry out agency services for property disposals, acquisitions, and lettings
  • Working with team members to provide consultancy advice on leases, and ownership/ legal title occupation
  • To assist qualified surveyors in the provision of Red Book valuations
  • Contribute to the development and preparation of bid and tender responses
  • A team player with willingness to learn and with the ability to develop good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

What you will bring to the role

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in real estate or equivalent accredited by RICS
  • An understanding of the property market and wider economic and business knowledge
  • Good organisational, planning and time management skills
  • Excellent report writing skills
  • Good interpersonal skills at a range of all levels
  • Ability to identify solutions and new opportunities
  • Willingness to travel and work flexibly to meet client and project needs
  • Analytical skills to develop, read and interpret complex information for different audiences
  • Previous experience of working within a public sector or consultancy environment is desirable
  • Experience of using one or more of the following: Prodev, Argus Investor and Argus Developer is desirable
