We're the only Museum of the Home in the world - revealing home as an emotional, psychological, socio-political and economic space - as well as the bricks and mortar.

Museum of the Home is a movement as much as a museum - seeing home as a lens through which many of the vital issues impacting the world can be viewed and solutions found.

We are now seeking a Learning Facilitator to join the team and support the delivery capacity and growth of the Museum’s schools offer and wider Learning programme. This position is fixed term until July 2027.

We’re looking for a learning professional with an established history of inclusive and interactive work with children and young people as well as a passion for heritage spaces as a tool for learning.

Closing date for applications is 9am on Monday 12 October 2026. We aim to shortlist and let candidates know by Wednesday 14 October if successful in proceeding to the interview stage.

Interviews will be held in person at the Museum on Wednesday 21 October. Ideally, the successful candidate will be in post the first week after half term, the week commencing 3 November, subject to their availability. As part of the interview candidates will be asked to deliver a 5-minute presentation proposing a school session idea connected to the Museum’s themes.
