Martin House provides free specialist palliative care to babies, children and young people with complex and life-shortening conditions. Families from across West, North and East Yorkshire have access to our care 24/7, 365 days a year, including specialist doctors. Every year we care for more than 550 families, at the hospice, in hospital and in families’ own homes, as well as supporting around 200 bereaved family members.
We are seeking a Donation Centre Supervisor to take day to day responsibility for the running of the Retail Donation Station, meeting targets and actively working towards delivering good quality, donated stock across the retails stores in the Yorkshire region.
The role will involve: Effectively supporting donors and the Retail Shops with receiving and delivery of stock, supplies and storage through a team of Staff and volunteers. To actively arrange and support stock collections ensuring that all donated stock is handled efficiently, safely and with exceptional customer service. Arranging the volunteer drivers to complete daily deliveries to shops and collections from donors. The successful candidate will be required to drive the Martin House vans to collect and deliver stock.
