Martin House provides free specialist palliative care to babies, children and young people with complex and life-shortening conditions. Families from across West, North and East Yorkshire have access to our care 24/7, 365 days a year, including specialist doctors. Every year we care for more than 550 families, at the hospice, in hospital and in families’ own homes, as well as supporting around 200 bereaved family members.

We’re looking for an energetic, passionate Events Fundraiser to take the lead on our Martin House community events portfolio. You’ll plan, deliver, and elevate our range of exciting community events, working closely with the Regional team and our wonderful community supporter network, to maximise impact and reach.

Our ideal candidate will

• Be an experienced events fundraiser, with a background of leading on events.

• Have experience of working within the charity sector.

• Thrive on bringing people together for community events.

• Be committed to Martin House’s values – Excellence, Respect, Integrity and Compassion.

• Be results driven and passionate about fundraising

• Want to work in a well-established, award-winning hospice, working as part of the multidisciplinary team to support the children, young people and their families from the time of their referral through to end of life care.
