Martin House has been caring for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions from West, North and East Yorkshire for more than 30 years. Every year we care for more than 420 families at our hospice in Boston Spa, in hospitals, and in their own homes. In addition, we also support more than 150 bereaved families each year.

We are seeking a creative, ambitious and focused Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser to cover Maternity cover for an initial period of 9 months.

Working with the Trusts and Foundations Team Manager, you will help to cultivate and steward a portfolio of major Trusts and Foundations with a giving capacity of £5,000.00 or more, submitting detailed and emotive bids and impactful reports. You will play an active part in helping Income Generation to fundraise for core running costs. You will have experience of working within the charitable sector, ideally within a Trusts and Foundations role, with a focus on larger Trust applications. The successful candidate will be positive, organised, and motivated, with the ability to manage their time and workload effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential as is the ability to write persuasively. A proven track-record of generating income and building relationships interdepartmentally and with external stakeholders is also essential to this role.
