Following a recent corporate restructure we are strengthening our team and this has led to a requirement for a more specialised HR support role.

Role Overview

Are you an experienced HR professional who enjoys working independently, making things happen, and being trusted to deliver results? We’re looking for someone proactive, approachable, and full of ideas to join our friendly, growing team.

This is a hands-on role with real scope - you will be involved in everything from recruitment and onboarding to performance, wellbeing, and policy development. You will have the freedom to shape how we do things, bring fresh thinking and help us grow as we enter our next chapter, building on our stable foundations and positive culture.

The role is office based and 15 hours per week with the core hours to be agreed with the successful candidate. The role will require flexibility during busy periods.

What You will Be Doing

• Supporting managers with people matters like retention, performance, wellbeing, and absence

• Answering employee queries

• Managing employee records maintaining accuracy and confidentiality

• Producing and sharing HR data to help guide decisions

• Getting stuck into HR projects and helping us improve how we work

• Keeping our policies up to date and aligned with best practice

• Leading or assisting with investigations, disciplinaries, and grievances

• Supporting managers with recruitment and making sure new starters feel welcome and supported

• Liaise with our external HR support company for advice and annual audits

What We are Looking For

• Solid HR experience at advisory or generalist level

• Someone who’s confident working independently and happy to take the lead

• A flexible and hands-on approach to problem-solving

• A genuine passion for creating a positive employee experience

• Someone who builds trust easily and communicates well across all levels

• Excellent attention to detail in records, data, and policies

• Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
