RDC Aviation is seeking a commercially driven Key Account Director to join our growing Commercial Team. In this senior role, you will nurture and expand relationships with a portfolio of strategically important customers across the MENA region, ensuring sustainable revenue growth.

You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them unlock the full value of RDC’s data driven solutions while identifying opportunities for deeper and broader engagement. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on building strategic partnerships, driving growth, and influencing at senior levels.

Core Responsibilities

Own Key Relationships – Manage and grow a portfolio of high-value potential strategic accounts.

Drive Growth – Deliver retention, expansion, and new business in line with revenue targets.

Portfolio Expansion – Identify and secure new customers in the region.

Revenue Accountability – Lead renewals, upsells, and cross-sells while maintaining strong margins.

Customer Advocacy – Represent customer needs internally and influence RDC’s product and service roadmap.

Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with Customer Success, Operations, and Marketing to ensure seamless client delivery.

Risk Management – Anticipate risks and develop proactive retention strategies.

Reporting – Provide insight on account health, opportunities, and challenges to leadership.

Main Duties

• Lead executive-level meetings, strategic planning sessions, and client briefings.

• Develop and update strategic account plans.

• Analyse customer data and trends to uncover growth opportunities.

• Coordinate internal stakeholders to maximise client value.

• Forecast account performance and support wider sales planning.

Other Responsibilities

• Contribute to RDC’s annual business development plan.

• Represent RDC at industry exhibitions, trade shows, and networking events.

• Uphold company policies and equal opportunity principles.

Experience, Qualifications & Skills

Essential

• 5+ years in B2B account management or business development (aviation, aerospace, or SaaS preferred).

• Proven success in exceeding sales targets and growing long-term customer relationships.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce/HubSpot) and reporting tools.

• Ability to travel and work flexibly in a hybrid environment.

Even better if you have…

• Knowledge of the aviation industry, airline or airport operations.

• Experience selling into the Middle East.

• Additional language skills.

• Familiarity with Salesforce.
