Cleaver Fulton Rankin, one of Northern Ireland’s leading law firms, is seeking Corporate Solicitors to join our team.
As one of our Corporate Solicitors you will have the opportunity to work across a diverse range of corporate/commercial matters, working on high-quality instructions alongside a team of dedicated professionals committed to fostering a supportive environment and delivering outstanding results.
Responsibilities will include:
• Advising clients on M&A transactions and corporate law matters.
• Collaborating closely with legal professionals at all levels on complex and high-value deals.
• Building strong client relationships and delivering exceptional legal advice.
• Contributing to the firm’s continued success and market leadership in commercial law.
This role will require you to provide high-quality, tailored legal advice on an array of corporate and commercial matters including: mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity, corporate finance, corporate restructuring, management buy-outs, equity financing, shareholder agreements, commercial contracts and general corporate/commercial advisory work. You will lead and/or work as part of a larger multi-disciplinary team on corporate transactions, working closely with other departments in the firm. In addition to strong technical skills and knowledge of corporate transactions and commercial agreements, you should be commercially aware and have a client-focused approach.
You will have corporate and commercial fee earning experience and have a background in transactional work. Excellent interpersonal skills, a keen interest in a variety of corporate and commercial law matters. A proactive approach to participating in marketing and business development initiatives are fundamental to this role.
Requirements:
• Qualified as a solicitor in Northern Ireland, with demonstrable corporate experience in M&A transactions.
• Demonstrable evidence of reviewing, analysing, and organising documentary and factual evidence, advising on risk and practical mitigation measures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team with others of various experience levels, as well as individually.
• Sound commercial awareness.
• Demonstrable evidence of delivering desired results.
• Demonstrable networking and business development skills.
• Excellent writing and organisation skills.
• Ability to balance work priorities and manage deadlines effectively.
• Excellent IT skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Salary: Commensurate with experience.
