Lottery Canvasser

We're looking for enthusiastic, proactive individuals to join our team as self-employed Lottery Canvassers.

In this rewarding role, you'll recruit new members to the Nightingale House Hospice Lottery through face-to-face interaction, helping to raise vital funds that support local patients and families living with life-limiting illnesses.

If you enjoy meeting people, working independently and supporting a fantastic local cause, we'd love to hear from you.

What We're Looking For You are:

• Confident speaking with members of the public

• Friendly, compassionate and approachable

• Self-motivated, reliable and enthusiastic

• Comfortable working towards targets and KPIs

• Able to build rapport quickly and inspire support for a worthwhile cause

You also have:

• Excellent communication and people skills

• Good organisation and time management skills

• A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle

• Experience in sales, fundraising or customer-facing roles (preferred)

What You'll Be Doing

• Recruiting new members to the Nightingale House Hospice Lottery

• Engaging with the public at events, retail locations and community venues

• Promoting the impact lottery membership has on local hospice care

• Following up hospice-provided and self-generated leads

• Raising awareness of Nightingale House Hospice and its services

• Representing the hospice professionally within the community
