Nightingale House Hospice provides specialist palliative care services, completely free-of-charge, to patients and their families across a wide area stretching from Wrexham, Flintshire, and East Denbighshire to Barmouth and the border towns including Oswestry and Whitchurch. Nightingale House Hospices’ shops are the heart of the charity and our community. Raising vital funds and increasing public awareness of what we do.

We’re looking for a ReUse Shop Manager to lead our busy and unique retail operation, transforming donated goods into vital income that supports the work of Nightingale House Hospice.
About the Role
This is a hands-on, commercially focused role where you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running and performance of the ReUse Shop.
You will
• Drive sales and maximise profitability across in-store and online channels
• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of staff and volunteers
• Deliver excellent customer service and a welcoming retail environment
• Manage stock flow, selection, pricing, and merchandising
• Work closely with FCC / WCBC partners to ensure a consistent supply of quality stock
• Coordinate weekly stock movement from feeder sites to maximise sales potential
• Ensure the shop operates safely, efficiently, and in line with all regulations
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
• Has proven retail management experience
• Is commercially aware and driven to achieve results
• Has strong leadership skills and enjoys developing teams
• Is confident managing stock, merchandising, and pricing strategies
• Has excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
• Is passionate about delivering great customer service
Experience in charity retail, reuse, or sustainability is desirable but not essential.
