Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer (Debt)

MPAAS are a progressive company focused on health & safety, development and delivering tech led solutions to UK energy suppliers, once again due to growth we are currently looking to recruit experienced Dual Fuel Engineers to work on the debt/warrant side of our business.
With this role you will be working closely with a Field Welfare Officer/Locksmith where your job will be to exchange gas/electric meters. We are looking for someone who is heavily customer focussed as you could be dealing with vulnerable individuals.
Please see the below breakdown of the full package on offer as a Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer, working on debt/warrant here at MPAAS. Regarding the below, if you now take into consideration your basic salary, the Health & Safety Bonus and the Attendance Bonus, you will be earning up to £46,600 (£49,600 if you live inside the M25) prior to earning any meter fitting bonus.
- Basic Salary: £40,000 (£44,000 if you leave inside the M25)
- Daily Meter Fitting Bonus Structure
- Attendance Bonus: £300 per month – You will receive this payment every month that you are in work without any absence (Apart from pre-booked annual leave).
- Health & Safety Bonus – £2,000 Health & Safety bonus (Paid Quarterly)
- Working Hours: 42.5 hours per week 8am-5.30pm (1 hour for lunch)
- Holidays: 23 days + 8 bank holidays Plus 1 Incremental service day, up to a maximum of 25 days annual leave – Please be aware, your incremental service days will only take effect after your first full January – December year has been worked. For example, if you started in June 2022, your extra day will come into effect from January 2024.
- Holiday Buy & Sell Scheme: You will be offered the option to either: - Buy additional holiday days - either individual days or if you purchase 1 week, then you will only have to pay for 4 days. Any days purchased must be paid for in advance via a maximum of 3 monthly deductions from payroll. - Sell a portion of your untaken annual holiday entitlement that is over the Statutory minimum of 20 days. For example, if your holiday entitlement for 2023 is 24 days (This includes 1 day incremental service day), you can only sell 4 days. This ‘selling’ window will be open for the full month of October with the payments being made in the December Payroll.
- Vitality Private Medical Care: After 3 months service, you will have the option to opt-in to a Private Health Care Scheme with Vitality (this is a taxable benefit and will affect your tax code). Due to the tax implications, you will not automatically be enrolled, and you will be required to opt-into the scheme. Details of how to opt-in, will be provided by HR closer to your 3 months service date.
- Life Assurance Cover – You will be enrolled into a Company Life Assurance scheme, which will pay a lump sum of 2 x annual basic salary to your nominated beneficiary should the unfortunate happen, whilst you are an employee of the Company.
- Pension: Standard Pension of 5% employee, 3% employer
