As a Clinical Specialist, your expertise in Tissue Viability and/or IPC will drive the development of evidence-based clinical strategies, educational materials, and product evaluations that ensure GAMA products remain at the forefront of healthcare innovation. Collaborating across teams, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our clinical initiative and healthcare practices, contributing to product development, and delivering real-world value to health and social care providers.
Your Role
As a Tissue Viability Clinical Specialist, your expertise will drive innovation and impact, ensuring GAMA’s solutions address the real-world needs of healthcare professionals. Collaborating across teams, you’ll shape clinical strategies, lead research, and champion the development of educational materials that improve wound care and skin health practices.
What you’ll do:
- Design and conduct clinical studies and product evaluations in collaboration with healthcare providers.
- Incorporate health economic insights into research to demonstrate the cost-effectiveness of interventions.
- Translate complex clinical data into actionable insights, supporting product claims and user education.
- Develop and deliver training programmes for healthcare professionals and internal teams.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and R&D to align tissue viability initiatives with GAMA’s commercial objectives.
- Provide expert input throughout the product development lifecycle to address tissue viability challenges.
- Act as the voice of tissue viability professionals, gathering feedback to inform innovation.
- Publish research outputs, including conference abstracts, posters, and peer-reviewed articles, with a focus on tissue viability advancements.
- Build relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and professional organisations like the Society of Tissue Viability (SoTV) and European Wound Management Association (EWMA).
- Stay informed of the latest developments in wound care, skin health, and tissue viability to maintain GAMA’s leadership in the field.

- Expertise in designing and conducting clinical studies, evaluating products, and presenting scientific findings.
- Strong ability to communicate complex clinical information to diverse audiences clearly and effectively.
- A collaborative mindset, with a proven track record of working across teams to achieve shared goals.
- Project management skills, with the ability to plan, execute, and deliver initiatives effectively.
- Experience or willingness to engage in collaborative research with academic or professional institutions.
