The role

The post holder will provide project support and carry out administrative and business support to the Pathway Fund.

The Pathway Fund is administered by Early Years on behalf of the Department of Education.

Essential Criteria

  • Degree Level Qualification OR Three years’ experience in an administrative and/or finance role, to include monitoring, managing and analysing of financial records/data to meet reporting requirements.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge in Microsoft Office packages including Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Access and Outlook and in particular, strong technical skills in the use of Excel and Word, to analyse and produce reports.
  • Demonstrate ability to work on own initiative, plan and organise workload, ability to work in a team and co-operation with other team members..
  • A full current driving licence enabling the holder to drive in Northern Ireland and have the use of vehicle for official purpose OR have access to a form of transport that will enable the candidate to meet the requirements of the post in full.

Desirable criteria

  • Experience in a finance environment, including the processing and verification of grant applications.
