Lead Major Infrastructure and Industrial Projects

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager (Industrial & Commercial) to take ownership of the successful delivery of industrial and commercial construction projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially aware and people-focused leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering outstanding results for clients.

Reporting to the Head of Operations you will oversee projects from inception through to completion, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, programme delivery and profitability are achieved.

About the Role

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operational and commercial performance of projects, leading site teams and working closely with planning, design, commercial and operational colleagues to ensure successful delivery.

You will be a visible leader across projects, championing health and safety, maintaining excellent client relationships and driving continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading the safe and successful delivery of industrial and commercial projects from start to finish.
• Managing project programmes, ensuring milestones and client expectations are met.
• Monitoring project performance, costs and profitability while identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Collaborating with commercial, design, planning and operational teams to maximise project performance.
• Leading, developing and performance-managing site-based teams.
• Ensuring compliance with company procedures, quality requirements and industry regulations.
• Carrying out site inspections, audits and safety reviews to maintain exceptional standards.
• Supporting sustainable working practices and efficient resource management.

What We're Looking For

Essential

• SMSTS Qualification
• First Aid at Work Qualification
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Significant experience in a senior project management, contracts management or site management role within construction or infrastructure
• Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and CDM Regulations
• Excellent leadership, planning and organisational skills
• Commercial awareness with experience managing project costs and performance
• Strong stakeholder management and customer relationship skills

Desirable

• NEBOSH General Certificate
• HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Construction Management or a related discipline
• Experience delivering industrial, commercial, utilities or infrastructure projects
