Job Title: Carer Support Benefits Adviser (Lincolnshire)
Salary: £14,122 per annum (£23,750 FTE)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 22 Hours per week
Location: This is a hybrid role which involves some community working across Lincolnshire with some home working

About this role
As a Carers Support Benefits Adviser your responsibilities would include:
- Providing benefits information and advice to Carers which will enable them to build resilience and balance their caring responsibilities and their lives.
- Cultivating and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, identifying and developing new partnership opportunities to create better outcome for Carers.
- Being an active member of the Carers First team, collaborating with colleagues and Managers, providing benefits support and guidance.
About you
To be successful in this role you will need:
- A working knowledge of social care and health, particularly in relation to adults.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of DWP benefits, particularly in relation to carers including fringe benefits.
