Job Title: Young Carer Support Adviser
Salary: £20,233 per annum (£26,737 FTE)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 28 hours per week
Location: Merton working flexibly from home and in the community

About this role
As a Young Carers Support Adviser your responsibilities would include: - • Managing conversations with young carers to identify needs with assessments and support plans
• Providing advice and wellbeing support
• Running support groups and activities
• Working with community groups
• Proactive identification of young carers through partnership working About you
To be successful in this role you will need
• Experience of working with young people either in a 1:1 or group setting
• A working knowledge of health and social care particularly in relation to young people and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A high standard of written skills is needed in order to help the carer identify their support needs and to complete assessments
